Fastrac Scholarships at NYIT 2025

Eligibility for Fastrac Scholarships at NYIT:

• Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
• Applicants must be incoming freshmen.
• Applicants must have achieved a GPA of 3.0 in high school.
• Applicants must have scored a minimum of 1150 on the SAT or 24 on the ACT.
• Applicants must submit the FAFSA Form and meet financial eligibility requirements.
• Applicants must enroll in a Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering major at the university.

Application Process:

All eligible candidates must complete and submit the FASTRAC Application to be considered for the scholarship. The application should include the following components:

• Two recommendation letters from the high school principal and/or teachers;
• Student essay (500-600 words) about why the candidate wants to go to college to become an engineer or computer scientist.

Value of the Scholarship:

The successful candidates are awarded a scholarship of USD 9,000 - 9,500 per year.
