The Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to both domestic and international students in compliance with directives from the Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Scholarships are given out for the whole academic year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must identify as international students.
Applicants must be enrolled in a Master's degree program at state-recognized universities in Germany.
Applicants can enroll in any of the Master's degree programs.
Applicants must have German language proficiency of B2 Level.

Application Process:

Eligible candidates must apply online for the scholarship along with the following documents:
- Completed application form.
- Candidates should submit their data and CVs.
- The motivation statement should be submitted which should include why the candidates are applying to the Heinrich Böll Foundation.
- Applicants of the Master's Scholarship For Non-EU Nationals, Heinrich Böll Foundation are also asked to submit a motivation for studying their chosen subject.
- An outline of your and your main areas of interest, social commitments, and political interests.
