KU Global Leader Scholarship 2025

Korea University offers the KU Global Leader Scholarship to International applicants. If they meet the conditions, International Students can apply for this scholarship when they apply for Korean University Admission.

Eligibility for the KU Global Leader Scholarship:

• Open for International applicants.
• Cumulative GPA from the previous (latest) school of 4.0 or higher (out of 4.5), 3.83 or higher (out of 4.3), 3.57 or higher (out of 4.0), or 90 or higher (out of 100)
• TOEFL (iBT) 90 or higher (My Best Score accepted), new TEPS 386 or higher, Academic IELTS 7.0 or higher, or TOPIK level 6.
• Recommended by the department and permission from the Dean of the KU Graduate School.
• TOEFL Home Edition and IELTS Home Test(Indicator) are NOT acceptable.
• Students are not allowed to be awarded this scholarship with other scholarships like the Global Korea Scholarship or Foundation Scholarship at the same time.
• Both admission evaluation and scholarship award evaluation will be conducted automatically and simultaneously. You do not need to contact the department individually for recommendations from the department.

Application Process:

Students must submit an application form to the university to be eligible for the scholarship.

Benefits: 

• Admission Scholarship: Starts from KRW 100,000 up to KRW 1,600,000 for the first semester.
• Travel Scholarship: Starts from KRW 100,000 up to KRW 1,500,000 for the first semester.
• Merit Scholarship: Awarded based on academic merit of the first semester in Korea University, KRW 1,200,000 for the second semester.
