International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship at University of Leicester 2025

Eligibility for International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

• Applicants must be classified as an international student for fee purposes.
• Applicants must be starting a full-time, campus-based undergraduate course in September 2025.
• The scholarship will be based on the standard tuition fee for each year of your course.
• The scholarship is awarded for a maximum of three years.
• The scholarship will not apply during industrial placements, overseas exchange programs, resit years, or if you suspend your studies.
• Applicants may hold only one scholarship from the University of Leicester.
• If awarded multiple scholarships, you will receive the higher-value award.
• If you have a conditional offer, you must meet all conditions outlined in your offer letter.

Value of the Scholarship:

Applicants who meet the equivalent of two grades above the standard A-level entry requirement for the chosen course will receive a £5,000 annual discount on the standard tuition fee.

Application process:

There is no need to apply for this scholarship. Eligible students will be automatically considered.
