Otsuka Toshimi Scholarship 2025

Otsuka Toshimi Foundation offers the Otsuka Toshimi Scholarship to international students currently residing in Japan.

Eligibility Criteria for Otsuka Toshimi Scholarship 2025:

• Applicants must be self-supporting international students residing in Japan.
• Applicants must be 38 years old or younger.
• Applicants must possess an outstanding academic record.
• Applicants must demonstrate a need for financial aid.
• Applicants must not have previously received a scholarship from the foundation.
• Applicants must be enrolled in an official degree program (related to human health) at a university or college.
• Applicants are not permitted to leave Japan for 40 or more days in total (including the departing date) during the period covered by the scholarship. 

Application Process: 

Applicants must complete the online submission form and mail the original documents to the Foundation.

Value of the Scholarship:

• Annual sum of ¥2.0 million, ¥1.5 million or ¥1.0 million
• The annual sum of ¥500,000 for applicants receiving scholarships or benefits from other sources (the total of scholarships or benefits from other sources received during the scholarship period must be less than 1.8 million yen)

Note: If undergraduate candidates are applying, they must have exceptional academic records, such as straight A's.
