Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Diploma/Degree) 2025

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) launched the Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Diploma/Degree) 2023–24 to offer financial aid to students studying technical degrees or diplomas from accredited institutions. Students who are wards of members of the armed forces and central paramilitary forces who were slain in combat, and orphans whose parents passed away as a result of COVID-19, are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Amounts up to INR 50,000 will be given annually to the chosen students.

Eligibility Criteria for Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Diploma/Degree) 2025:

• Students need to be a COVID-19-impacted ward i.e., either or both parents died due to COVID-19.
• Students must be wards of the Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed).
• Students should be enrolled in a course at degree/diploma level in regular mode (in 1st/2nd/3rd/4th year) at an AICTE-approved institution.
• Students should not be a recipient of any of the central/state government/AICTE-sponsored scholarships.
• Students must have a family income of less than INR 8,00,000 per annum.

Students need to submit an application form ONLINE only.

Documents:

• Bonafide certificate issued by the institution
• Class 12/Equivalent
• Class 10 mark sheet
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Current year income certificate issued by Competent Authority [For wards of armed forces and central paramilitary forces martyred in action (Shaheed)]
• Death certificate of father/mother or both explicitly mentioning that the death was due to COVID-19 [For candidates whose either or both Parents Died due to COVID-19]
• Death certificates of both father and mother (if available) [For orphan candidates]
